La Paloma Lodge nests atop a high bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Drake Bay, on the pristine Osa Peninsula, in the far south of Costa Rica.

Spread over 12 acres of dense tropical rainforest and within range of Corcovado National Park, La Paloma is truly a dream for lovers of nature and tranquility, while offering plenty of activity for the more adventurous, from kayaking through jungle rivers to horseback riding along deserted beaches at sunset, spotting scarlet macaws, toucans and monkeys, visiting Caño Island, sportfishing, whale watching, snorkeling, or scuba diving in the waters of the Caño Island Biological Reserve.

All of the rooms and Ranchos at La Paloma are furnished with queen and single orthopedic beds, ceiling fans, and screens to allow the trade winds through to provide ideal sleeping conditions. Hot water is provided by solar and propane heaters. Each also boasts an artistically tiled bath, expansive balconies with hammocks to relax in, varnished hardwood floors, and a breathtaking vista of the blue Pacific. The Lodge faces west, the perfect direction to catch a magnificent tropical sunset over Caño Island, before being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves and woken by the symphony of the rainforest.

Three night packages start at $970 per person, three meals, tours and taxes included.
