Costa Rica - Places to See

Costa Rica protects more than 25% of its total land area from development in some sort of park, refuge, reserve or other type of protected zone.Tapir-CB

There are more than 161 national parks, biological reserves, wildlife refuges, wetlands and other parks and refuges in Costa Rica. So... No matter where you are in Costa Rica, there is always a green sanctuary nearby where hiking, bird and wildlife watching, snorkeling and diving, whale watching, or any number of other nature and adventure activities can be enjoyed.

We specialize in eco-tourism and can help you explore some of Costa Rica's most unique and interesting environments. Let us help you plan your tropical adventure.

Did You Know?

* More than three million acres of land are protected in Costa Rica
* More than 4% of the world's total biodiversity is found in Costa Rica
* PLEASE... Do not collect any natural materials--animals, plants, rocks, shells, etc.- within Costa Rica's protected areas, including all beaches. If everyone who visited Costa Rica (almost two million visitors each year) took just a little, there would be nothing left!
