From the moment you exit your room in the morning and see the large iguana basking out in the sun, until the afternoon drifts into the evening, there is always an animal nearby. About the tour: Enjoy the most extraordinary view of the Arenal Volcano on a gentle hike along the base of this marvelous “Mountain of Fire”. The hike begins in one the trails close to the volcano, this trail will take us through the forest over recent lava flows and the area destroyed in 1968 now in the process of regeneration. We are going to be on this trail for about 2.5 hours. You should arrive 3 hours before your flight. Upon arrival at the airport, you'll need to pay a $26 per person departure tax. The booth is located to the right as you enter the airport.
